ThetaHealing™ in New Zealand Woman’s Day Magazine

Recently I collaborated with Michelle Buchanan to write an article on ThetaHealing™ for her regular spiritual counselling column in the NZ Woman’s Day magazine.  The column has been presenting various healing modalities that are on offer and it was fabulous to have ThetaHealing™ included.

Fresh Perspectives

Our New Year’s resolutions, so full of hope and commitment to ourselves, are a wonderful symbol of our belief that we can change in an instant as the clock strikes 12.  Our optimism is amazing that with nothing more than a decision we can get better or different results from one minute to the next.

However, sooner or later most of us contemplate how unsuccessful we’ve been and give up on our resolutions.  One way round this is the beautiful concept of living in the moment and knowing that each thought we have will either benefit us by building our new self concept, or defeat us by telling us we’ve already failed – again – to reach our new goals.

We’ve been told forever that what we focus on will take on a dynamic form in our lives – so keep a clear picture of what you want in mind.  If you slip up and loose track of your goal it could be a moment to delve deep into why, figure out the trip wires you unconsciously hid on your own path, or even what pay-off you’re getting from failing.

That change we want really can be instantaneous but it does require us to heal ourselves in some way or other.  Maybe we need to know how to live without expecting failure, the positive feeling of success; how to take the next step and that it’s possible to achieve our dreams.  Remember that new skills can take time to master, practice really does make perfect, so perhaps deciding to show yourself more patience and kindness would be a good habit to keep you on track.

Why not have New Year’s Day (without any kind of hangover) every day, by reminding your self that your thoughts are creating your reality in every moment, ask for healing to change the energy, laugh at your own foibles, remind yourself you’re already a successful, loveable human being, and keep moving towards those new ideals you set for yourself.
